NASA’s moon missions in the late 60s and early 70s generated hundreds of canisters of film – many of which could be classed as ‘boring’ since they show the same grey lunar features. Dig deeper, though, and you find all kinds of amazing out-takes, weird colours, close-ups and what can only be described as high art.
